Our focus is on creating a caring atmosphere that promotes learning, confidence and emotional wellbeing. A Word From Our Founder

Hello, I’m Jugan Sahota, founder and owner of Kiddiecare.
My journey with Kiddiecare began in 2009 as a volunteer when my own daughter started nursery. What started as a few hours a week quickly became a passion. In 2013, I took over the nursery and have poured my heart into creating a place where every child feels safe, valued, and truly loved.
At Kiddiecare, we believe that when children feel secure and supported, they flourish. Our curriculum grows from this simple belief. With children at the centre and families by our side, we have created two beautiful settings — one in Istead Rise and our new purpose-built nursery in New Barn — where learning happens naturally through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We focus on four key areas: Little Creators, Little Innovators, Little Explorers, and Holistic Health & Wellbeing. But above all, we focus on the child. Every room, every outdoor space, and every interaction is designed to nurture confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our Story

Kiddiecare began its journey in 2009 when Jugan Sahota first volunteered at the nursery while her own daughter was attending. What started as a few hours a week helping out quickly turned into something much deeper. Jugan fell in love with early years education and the incredible impact a nurturing environment can have on young children. In 2013, Jugan took over the leadership of Kiddiecare Kindergarten at Istead Rise. With passion, determination, and a clear vision, she transformed the setting — improving resources, enhancing the outdoor provision, and building a strong, dedicated team. Over the years, her commitment to quality and genuine care earned the trust of many local families.

Driven by a desire to offer even more children the same high-quality experience, Jugan expanded in 2026 by opening Kiddiecare Daycare & Preschool at New Barn. This beautiful, purpose-built nursery in a picturesque Kent village setting allows Kiddiecare to welcome more families while maintaining the same warm, family-centred ethos that has always been at the heart of the nursery. Today, Kiddiecare operates two wonderful settings — one nestled within Istead Rise Primary School and the other in our brand new New Barn facility.
